- Floor area
floorAreaM2 - Total floor area, in square metres.
- Pack coverage (check the pack)
packCoverageM2 - Area one pack covers — this varies a lot by product, so check the pack itself.
- Waste allowance
wastePercent - Extra flooring for cuts and staggered board joints. 10% suits a rectangular room laid straight.
Methodology
Packs = (area × (1 + waste%)) ÷ pack coverage, rounded up to a whole pack.
