- Room length
length - Usable room length, excluding fixed obstructions.
- Room width
width - Usable room width, excluding fixed obstructions.
- Layout style
layoutStyle - Standing (reception-style) and theatre (rows of seating) both need roughly 1m² per guest; banquet (round tables) needs roughly 1.5m² per guest to fit the tables and access.
Methodology
Maximum guests = usable floor area ÷ space needed per guest for the chosen layout style.
