fileSize - Size of the file, backup or video being uploaded.
- Upload speed
speedMbps - Your connection's upload speed in Mbps — check a speed test, as this is often far lower than your download speed on many home broadband packages.
Methodology
Time (seconds) = file size (megabits) ÷ upload speed (Mbps). File size in MB is converted to megabits by multiplying by 8.

- Check your specific plan's upload speed separately from download speed — many home broadband packages (especially cable/DSL) have a much slower upload than download.
