totalAmount - The total quantity you have, in whatever unit makes sense (grams, ml, portions).

numberOfServings - How many people or servings you're dividing it between.
Methodology
Amount per serving = total amount ÷ number of servings.
Worked example
2000g total, 8 servings
Inputs: totalAmount=2000, numberOfServings=8
Result: 250g per serving
